England batsman Kevin Pietersen continues to insist that he does not have a big problem against left-arm spin.

Emphasizing his commitment to England and insisting that he would relish the chance to open the batting in the one-day series that follows the third Test with Pakistan, the Daily Mail quoted Pietersen, as saying: “I think the mystery of Saeed Ajmal has shocked us a little bit, and they've bowled really well. It's really good spin bowling we actually haven't faced in the last few years.”

“I think it's not really the spin, it's the speed at which it's spun and the times it hasn't spun. That's the difference,” he added.

He also said that Pakistan and India are incredible outfits in their backyard, and there was a need for England batters to delve deep and try to combat this reputation.
